Overnight burglary at Hartlepool shop

According to an article published by Hartlepoolmail on 16 December 2025, the Pups & Pals Dog Grooming shop on Park Road was targeted in an overnight burglary. The incident occurred between midnight and 4am on Tuesday, November 25.

Hartlepoolmail reports that the business owner discovered the break-in upon arriving to open the shop. Intruders gained access through the back doors, which were severely damaged. Items stolen during the raid included two iPhones, a set of keys from a safe, and dog treats. The owner noted that the damage and loss of stock have caused significant disruption to daily operations, forcing the cancellation of bookings and leaving the business running on limited resources.

Cleveland Police have released CCTV images of the intruders. Members of the public with information are encouraged to contact the police by calling 101 and quoting reference number 225845.

Business owners are advised to regularly review and upgrade their security measures, including the reinforcement of rear access points, to help deter unauthorized entry.
