Intruders confronted at Berkshire residence

According to an article published on 11 November 2025, Chelsea player Raheem Sterling confronted a group of masked burglars who broke into his Berkshire home. Footballlondon reports that the incident occurred on a Saturday evening between 6:30pm and 7:00pm, while Sterling and his family were inside the property.

Approximately five individuals forced entry to the upper floor of the residence. According to Footballlondon, Sterling heard the intruders and moved to ensure his partner and children were safe before confronting the group. The intruders fled the property empty-handed after being challenged by the homeowner. Thames Valley Police are conducting an investigation into the break-in and have requested that anyone with information or who may have seen suspicious activity in the area contact the authorities.

This event marks the third time the player has been targeted by burglars in seven years. Chelsea Football Club is currently providing support to the player and his family following the incident.
