Burglary Crew Targets Multiple ATMs in Northwest Side Businesses

An organized burglary crew recently targeted multiple businesses on Chicago's Northwest Side in a series of attempted ATM thefts. The perpetrators attempted to remove or break open automated teller machines from several local commercial establishments during late-night or early-morning hours.

Law enforcement reports indicate the suspects used specialized tools and vehicles to gain access to the premises and attempt the heavy extractions. While some attempts were unsuccessful, the incidents have caused significant structural and property damage to the affected storefronts. Area detectives are reviewing surveillance footage to identify the crew and their vehicles.
