Residential burglary spree in Northwich
According to an article published on 3 February 2026 by Devonlive, two men have been sentenced to 56 months in prison each for their involvement in a series of burglaries targeting seven properties across the region. Denis Puka, 28, and Erisjan Laska, 29, along with an unidentified third individual, carried out the offences over three nights in June.
Devonlive reports that the group operated from an Airbnb base in Warrington, utilizing a vehicle fitted with false registration plates and equipment including masks, tools, and walkie-talkies. Among the targeted locations was the Northwich home of professional footballer Scott Hogan. On 7 June, Mr. Hogan discovered three men outside his bedroom window before they fled the scene. While nothing was stolen from that specific property, the group successfully stole watches valued at ยฃ9,000 from another mansion in Northwich during the same period.
The defendants were arrested following the recovery of the vehicle used during the spree. In court, the impact of these intrusions was described as causing significant stress and anxiety for the victims involved.
Ensure your home is secured with high-quality locks and a monitored alarm system to deter unauthorized entry.
