Burglary Suspect Detained by Business Owner in Rapid City

On the morning of September 22, 2023, a burglary suspect was detained by a business owner during an early-morning break-in at a store located at 2715 Jackson Blvd in Rapid City, South Dakota. The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Joshua Lee, was apprehended after attempting to break into the store through a rear window. The suspect was injured during the incident and was taken to Rapid City Regional Hospital for treatment.
