Burglary Suspect Gets Stuck in Chimney After Theft in Houston

On Tuesday, a burglary suspect in Houston attempted to steal jewelry and electronics from a residence in the 10000 block of Shadow Creek Parkway. The suspect entered the home through an unlocked window and made off with an estimated $10,000 worth of valuables. However, the suspect's escape was thwarted when he became stuck in the chimney while trying to flee through the roof.

The Houston Fire Department was called to the scene and successfully rescued the suspect, who was later arrested by the Houston Police Department. The suspect was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained during the rescue. Police are appealing for any witnesses or information that could aid in the investigation.
