Burglary Suspects Detained Following High-Speed Vehicle Pursuit in Adelanto

ADELANTO, Calif. — Several burglary suspects were taken into custody late Thursday evening following a high-speed vehicle pursuit that spanned multiple neighborhoods in Adelanto, authorities said.

The chase began around 10:50 p.m. on June 11, 2026, when deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department attempted to stop a vehicle suspected of involvement in a local burglary. The driver accelerated away from officers, leading them on a high-speed chase through city streets. The pursuit reached high speeds, presenting a significant threat to local traffic and pedestrians.

Deputies utilized tactical maneuvers to safely bring the suspect vehicle to a halt. The occupants of the vehicle were arrested at the scene without further incident. The suspects, whose names have not yet been released, are facing charges of burglary, conspiracy, and felony evading. An investigation into the targeted burglary is active and ongoing.
