According to an article published by Eveningnews24 on 15 April 2025, a local manufacturing business, Scott Timber Buildings in Horsford, has been targeted in two separate nighttime burglaries. The incidents resulted in the theft of trailers, building tools, roofing materials, and approximately 620 litres of diesel, with the total loss estimated at around £20,000.

Eveningnews24 reports that the first theft occurred at approximately 11:40 pm on 13 April, when suspects entered the site and removed a trailer. The suspects returned at 3:40 am the following morning to take a second trailer and additional equipment. The business owner stated that CCTV footage captured two individuals using a Honda CR-V with a removed rear number plate during the incidents.

Norfolk Police have confirmed that an investigation into both burglaries is currently underway. Authorities are asking anyone with relevant information to contact the Norfolk Constabulary, referencing crime number 36/25415/25. The business owner noted that these thefts have caused significant operational disruption and plans to upgrade the site's security systems.
