Ram-raid burglary at Hebburn business

According to an article published on 27 May 2026 by Chroniclelive, a new business located on the Victoria Industrial Estate in Hebburn, South Tyneside, was targeted in a ram-raid burglary. The incident, which is believed to have occurred at approximately 3am on Wednesday, resulted in the theft of four vehicles with an estimated total value of £80,000.

Chroniclelive reports that the business, Seven Competitions, had two high-performance cars—a grey 2017 BMW M140i and a nitrous blue Ford Focus RS—as well as two Sur-Ron motorbikes taken from their unit. The manager stated that a large vehicle was likely used to force entry through the premises' shutter. Northumbria Police have confirmed they are investigating the burglary after receiving a report of the incident shortly after 8.30am on Wednesday.

The company has confirmed that all competition entrants will be refunded as they work to recover from the loss. Authorities are currently seeking any available CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to assist with their ongoing investigation.
