Car Theft Spree Across Cheshire and North Wales Ends in Prison Sentences

A multi-county car theft spree has come to an end with two young men now behind bars after targeting residential driveways across Cheshire and North Wales. The collaborative policing efforts of both regions led to the arrest and subsequent conviction of the pair, who left a trail of stolen vehicles and distressed homeowners in their wake.

Kyle Draper, aged 21, and Benjamin Evans, aged 20, both of no fixed address, appeared before the court where they admitted to a string of vehicle-related offences. The duo specialized in identifying premium cars parked on private driveways, executing quick thefts under the cover of darkness before transporting the stolen vehicles across county borders.

Their criminal campaign eventually caught the attention of local detectives, who launched a coordinated investigation. Through forensic evidence, CCTV footage, and automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) tracking, officers successfully mapped the suspects' movements and linked them directly to the stolen cars. Both men have now been sentenced to prison terms, providing some closure to the affected communities in Cheshire and North Wales.
