'Career Criminal' Arrested, Two Suspects Sought Following Sarasota Business Theft

SARASOTA, FL — A notorious career criminal is back in custody, but Sarasota police are still searching for two additional suspects wanted in connection with a bold commercial theft, authorities announced Thursday.

The incident occurred at a local Sarasota business, where three individuals allegedly colluded to steal high-value merchandise. Investigators' review of surveillance footage and witness accounts led to the identification of one of the suspects, described by law enforcement as a 'career criminal' with an extensive history of property crimes and thefts in the region.

While police successfully located and arrested the primary suspect, the remaining two individuals involved in the heist managed to flee the scene and remain at large. The Sarasota Police Department has released descriptions of the wanted suspects, urging the public to assist in identifying them.
