Cash and Vehicle Stolen as Two Armagh Businesses Targeted in Burglaries

Detectives in Armagh are investigating a double burglary after two commercial business premises in the city were targeted by thieves. The break-ins resulted in the theft of a significant quantity of cash as well as a vehicle from one of the properties.

The burglaries, which occurred on New Year's Eve, appear to have been coordinated. Thieves forced entry into both commercial properties, ransacking offices and locating cash boxes. In addition to the monetary loss, the suspects stole a commercial vehicle from the premises of one of the businesses to facilitate their escape.

Local business owners have expressed concern over the incident, which occurred during a busy trading period. Police have launched a full appeal for information, calling on anyone who noticed suspicious behavior, vehicles, or individuals near business districts in Armagh during the late hours of December 31 to contact investigators. Forensic examinations of both crime scenes have been conducted as part of the ongoing investigation.
