CCTV Video Released After Burglars Break Into Sneakers Connect in Margate

MARGATE — Detectives investigating a high-value commercial burglary at the Sneakers Connect store in Margate have released CCTV footage in an appeal to identify the culprits.

The incident, which took place at the retail premises, saw multiple suspects force entry into the shop during the early hours of the morning. Once inside, the burglars targeted premium, limited-edition footwear and streetwear, quickly loading high-value stock into bags before fleeing the scene.

The released video shows the suspects moving through the store, and authorities hope that members of the public might recognize their clothing, build, or mannerisms. The store owners have expressed their devastation at the loss, noting that many of the stolen sneakers are rare and highly sought after, making them difficult to replace.

A spokesperson for the local police force stated: "We are investigating a commercial burglary at Sneakers Connect in Margate. CCTV footage has been obtained, and we are asking anyone who recognizes the individuals featured in the video, or who has been offered high-end sneakers for sale under suspicious circumstances, to come forward."
