The charity, Naomi House and Jacksplace, reported that the shop was forced to close on Thursday due to the state of the premises. According to the Salisburyjournal, the organization estimates the total cost of the damage and lost takings to be approximately £1,500. While equipment was unplugged, it appears nothing was taken, leading officials to believe the intruders may have been interrupted.

Police officers have attended the scene to investigate the incident. The shop, which supports hospice care for children and young adults, expects to remain closed until the following day. The charity expressed that the event has been devastating for the local staff and the community.

Business owners are encouraged to regularly inspect all entry points and reinforce unused doors to prevent unauthorized access.
