Chester Co-op Targeted by Thief Wrapped in Green Blanket in Late-Night Alcohol Raid

A bizarre commercial burglary has occurred in Chester, where a suspect draped in a large green blanket raided a local Co-op convenience store in the middle of the night.

The security footage shows the perpetrator entering the store, utilizing the green blanket as a makeshift disguise to prevent identification by the cameras. Despite the unusual attire, the thief managed to quickly navigate the aisles, target the alcohol section, and flee with a significant quantity of spirits and beers.

Staff discovered the break-in the following morning and alerted the authorities. Cheshire Constabulary is currently analyzing the security footage and has asked anyone who may have seen an individual carrying a green blanket or behaving suspiciously in the area to come forward.
