Cheyenne Police Department Seeks Public Assistance Following Construction Site Burglary

CHEYENNE, WY — The Cheyenne Police Department is asking the public for assistance as they investigate a commercial burglary at a local construction site that occurred earlier this week.

According to police reports, suspect(s) gained unauthorized entry to a fenced-off construction zone and broke into several secure storage containers. A large quantity of commercial-grade power tools, copper wiring, and heavy-duty building equipment was reported stolen, causing thousands of dollars in losses and project delays.

Security footage from nearby areas is currently being reviewed by detectives. The department has released a call to action for anyone who may have witnessed suspicious vehicle activity or individuals in the vicinity of the construction site during the overnight hours.
