Chicago-Area Man Arrested for Double Pharmacy Burglaries in New Lenox
NEW LENOX, IL — A 26-year-old Chicago-area resident is facing multiple charges after allegedly executing back-to-back burglaries at two pharmacies in New Lenox while wearing a face covering to conceal his identity.
New Lenox police responded to reports of active pharmacy burglaries. Officers arriving on the scene were informed that a masked suspect had entered two separate pharmacy locations, swiftly removing dozens of boxes containing both prescription and over-the-counter medications.
Following an immediate search of the surrounding area, NLPD officers located and arrested the 26-year-old suspect. The stolen medication boxes were successfully recovered by law enforcement. The suspect remains in custody pending formal charges and court hearings.
