Commercial burglary in St Austell

According to an article published by Falmouthpacket on 21 January 2026, police are investigating a burglary at the Teddington Appliance Controls business premises located on Daniels Lane in St Austell.

The theft occurred between midday on 9 January and 6am on 12 January. According to Falmouthpacket, offenders gained entry to the building by forcing a window. Once inside, the thieves stole copper files and wiring with an estimated value of ยฃ6,500.

Devon and Cornwall Police are urging anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area during this timeframe to come forward. Investigators are particularly interested in hearing from members of the public or scrap metal dealers who may have been offered the stolen copper for sale.
