According to an article published by Falmouthpacket on 21 January 2026, police are investigating a burglary at the Teddington Appliance Controls business premises located on Daniels Lane in St Austell.

The theft occurred between midday on 9 January and 6am on 12 January. According to Falmouthpacket, offenders gained entry to the building by forcing a window. Once inside, the thieves stole copper files and wiring with an estimated value of £6,500.
