Deadly South Phoenix Home Invasion Leaves Three Dead, Two Wounded

PHOENIX, Arizona — A tragic shooting in a south Phoenix neighborhood has left three men dead and two others hospitalized following a violent home invasion. The Phoenix Police Department responded to reports of multiple gunshots at a local residence on September 24, 2025.

Upon arrival, officers discovered five individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Three of the victims, all adult males, were pronounced dead at the scene. The remaining two victims were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they are receiving treatment for their injuries. Police have described the scene as extremely chaotic and believe the incident stemmed from an armed intrusion into the home.

Homicide detectives are actively working to establish a motive and identify suspects. Authorities suggest the home invasion may have been a targeted incident rather than a random act of violence.
