Detectives Seek Public's Help to Identify Plank Road Armed Robbery Suspect

Detectives with the Baton Rouge Police Department are seeking assistance from the public to identify a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a convenience store located along Plank Road.

According to police reports, the suspect entered the business premises, brandished a weapon, and threatened the store clerk while demanding money from the register. After obtaining a sum of money, the individual fled the scene. Detectives have released descriptions and are examining security footage in hopes of identifying the perpetrator.

BRPD is asking anyone who may recognize the individual or who has information about the robbery on Plank Road to contact the Armed Robbery Division. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers, which offers potential cash rewards for information leading to arrests in ongoing felony cases.
