Dodger Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s Hollywood Hills Home Target of Burglary Attempt

LOS ANGELES, CA — The Hollywood Hills residence of Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto was the target of an attempted burglary. Intruders breached the property and broke a glass door in an effort to gain entry into the home. Fortunately, the security system or other deterrents prevented the suspects from completing the heist, and they fled the scene shortly after.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident and reviewing surveillance footage from the home and neighboring properties. Yamamoto, who signed a historic contract with the Dodgers, is the latest high-profile athlete to be targeted by specialized burglary crews operating in luxury residential areas. Security personnel have since increased monitoring around the residence.
