Early Hours Crime Spree: Thieves Target Two Morrisons Stores in Watford and Bushey

A police investigation is underway following a series of commercial burglaries targeting Morrisons supermarkets in the early hours of Monday, April 28, 2025. Intruders smashed their way into two separate branches of the supermarket chain located in Watford and neighbouring Bushey in what appears to be a coordinated crime spree.

Officers were called to the scenes after alarms were raised at the retail premises. Initial reports indicate substantial damage was caused to the storefronts as the culprits forced entry to steal stock. Police are currently reviewing security footage and conducting forensic sweeps of the affected stores to identify the perpetrators.

Hertfordshire Constabulary is asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity, or drivers with dashcam footage who were in the vicinity of the Watford or Bushey Morrisons stores between midnight and 5:00 AM, to contact them immediately.
