East Carolina University Student Charged Following Destructive Break-In at Greenville Coffee Shop

GREENVILLE, North Carolina — A popular local coffee shop in Greenville has temporarily closed its doors to the public after a destructive break-in early Monday morning. Local authorities have arrested and charged an East Carolina University (ECU) student in connection with the incident, which left the establishment with significant property damage.

Greenville Police Department officers responded to an active alarm at the coffee shop located near the university campus. Upon arrival, officers discovered shattered glass entryways and signs of forced entry.
