East Hartford Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspects After Stolen Getaway Car Abandoned

EAST HARTFORD, CT — Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating suspects who carried out an armed robbery at an East Hartford gas station on Monday, August 18, 2025. Following the heist, the perpetrators fled the scene and subsequently abandoned their stolen getaway vehicle in a nearby area, triggering an active search by law enforcement.

According to authorities, the incident unfolded when the suspects entered the service station, brandishing weapons and demanding cash from the clerk. After securing an undisclosed amount of money, the individuals fled in a vehicle that was later determined to have been stolen. Police officers located the ditched vehicle shortly after the robbery, but the suspects had already fled on foot.
