East Kilbride Petrol Station Robbed as One Person Hospitalized After Night Attack

A major police investigation is underway in East Kilbride after a late-night robbery at a local fuel station resulted in one man being rushed to the hospital. The incident has caused concern in the South Lanarkshire town as emergency services locked down the area to carry out inquiries.

Late-Night Violence

The robbery took place late in the evening when an individual or group targeted the service station. During the course of the incident, a man sustained injuries that required urgent medical attention. Paramedics arrived promptly at the scene, and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The severity of his injuries has not yet been fully disclosed by authorities.

Police Hunt for Suspects

Officers established a cordon around the fuel station, closing the forecourt to the public while forensic specialists examined the site for evidence. Detectives are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the business and surrounding properties. Police Scotland is appealing to any motorists who may have been in the area with active dashcams, or anyone with information, to contact them to assist in identifying the culprits.
