Detectives in Aylesbury have launched a major investigation after an elderly man was sexually assaulted and robbed in the town. Thames Valley Police confirmed that the victim, a man in his 70s, was targeted in a distressing attack that officers believe may be connected to other recent incidents in the area.

The assault has prompted a heightened police presence in Aylesbury, with neighbourhood teams conducting reassurance patrols and speaking with residents. Detectives are currently reviewing CCTV footage and carrying out forensic enquiries as they work to identify the suspect.
