Erie police search for suspect accused of robbing a Peach Street smoke shop of THC flower

ERIE, Pa. — The Erie Police Department is seeking the public's help to identify and locate a suspect accused of robbing a smoke shop located along the busy Peach Street corridor on Thursday afternoon, escaping with an undisclosed quantity of THC flower.

According to police reports, the incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. at a local smoke shop in the 3800 block of Peach Street. Investigations reveal that the suspect entered the establishment, approached the counter, and demanded THC flower from the employee on duty. While no weapon was visibly displayed, the suspect made threatening gestures, leading the employee to comply out of fear for their safety.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and a black face mask. After obtaining the product, the suspect fled the store on foot, heading northbound on Peach Street. No injuries were reported in connection with the heist.
