Failed Armed Robbery: Gunmen Flee Hesperia Liquor Store Empty-Handed

HESPERIA, CA — Sheriff's deputies are searching for two armed suspects who attempted to rob a Hesperia liquor store on Friday afternoon, only to flee empty-handed after confronting an employee.

The incident took place on January 23, 2026. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, two male suspects entered the local retail establishment and immediately brandished a handgun. The gunmen pointed the weapon directly at the store clerk, demanding access to the cash register.

Suspects Flee the Scene

Despite the high-stress confrontation, the robbery attempt fell apart. The suspects aborted the heist and quickly fled the store before obtaining any cash, valuables, or store merchandise. They were last seen running from the premises in an unknown direction.
