Farm break-in and drug investigation in Attleborough
Armed break-in at Attleborough farm
According to an article published by Edp24 on 28 November 2025, a violent break-in occurred at Old Hall Farm in Burgh Common, located on the outskirts of Attleborough. A gang of four men armed with machetes and knives forced entry into the property on 25 November by smashing windows and doors.
Edp24 reports that Drew Syrett, 33, was present during the incident and escaped by jumping from a second-floor window before seeking refuge at a neighbor's home. Following the break-in, police searched the property and discovered significant quantities of cocaine and cannabis. Syrett now faces five charges related to the supply and possession of these substances.
The incident at the farm follows a separate armed robbery that occurred less than 24 hours earlier at Master of Barbers in Attleborough, where six men armed with baseball bats forced their way into the business. As of the report, the individuals involved in both the farm break-in and the barber shop robbery remain at large. Authorities continue to investigate both cases.
Ensure your property is secured with robust locks, monitored alarm systems, and visible security lighting to deter unauthorized access.
