Federal Authorities Search for Three Suspects in Southeast Albuquerque ATM Robbery

Federal authorities have joined forces with local law enforcement to locate a trio of suspects accused of robbing a bank automated teller machine (ATM) in Southeast Albuquerque. The incident, which occurred during the early morning hours, involved significant property damage and the theft of an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Albuquerque Police Department reported that the three suspects approached the bank ATM, utilizing specialized tools to breach the machine's secure vault. Surveillance footage captured the suspects working in tandem, demonstrating a high degree of organization before fleeing the scene in a getaway vehicle.

Because the targeted ATM belongs to a federally insured financial institution, the crime falls under federal jurisdiction. Authorities have released screenshots from the security cameras, showing the suspects wearing dark clothing, masks, and gloves.
