CHICAGO โ A tragic collision on Chicago's streets has claimed the life of a Filipino-American father, following a high-speed vehicle crash involving suspects fleeing a burglary at a local Louis Vuitton store.
Tragic Collision Follows Commercial Burglary
The incident occurred on Saturday, September 20, 2025. According to reports from the Chicago Police Department, a group of thieves executed a smash-and-grab burglary at a high-end Louis Vuitton retail location. After stealing a significant amount of designer merchandise, the suspects fled the scene in a getaway vehicle, driving at high speeds and ignoring traffic signals.
As the suspects sped away, their vehicle collided violently with another car at a nearby intersection.
