Former Augusta National worker admits to stealing Masters merchandise in Augusta

A former employee of Augusta National has admitted to the theft of more than $5 million in Masters merchandise. The stolen items included a green jacket that once belonged to professional golfer Arnold Palmer.

The individual, who previously worked at the Augusta facility, entered a guilty plea regarding the misappropriation of the tournament-related goods. Authorities confirmed the total value of the stolen property exceeded $5 million.
