Four Maryland Residents Arrested After Armed Robbery at Altoona Hotel

ALTOONA, Pennsylvania — Four residents of Maryland have been jailed in Pennsylvania following an armed robbery at a local Altoona hotel and a subsequent high-speed police chase.

According to the Altoona Police Department, the incident began when officers received an emergency call reporting an armed robbery in progress at a hotel. Upon arrival, police learned that multiple suspects had brandished weapons, demanded valuables, and fled the scene in a getaway vehicle. Officers spotted the suspect vehicle shortly thereafter, initiating a pursuit as the driver refused to stop.

The chase concluded when police successfully disabled the vehicle, leading to the immediate arrest of all four occupants. The suspects, all identified as Maryland residents, are currently held in the county prison facing felony charges, including robbery, conspiracy, fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, and weapons offenses.
