Residential burglary reported in Nailsworth

According to an article published by Gloucestershirelive on 20 November 2025, four men in their 20s have been arrested following a residential burglary in Nailsworth, Stroud. Gloucestershire Police received a report on Tuesday, 18 November, stating that unknown offenders had forced entry into a property on Burma Road at approximately 6am.

The suspects reportedly stole two sets of car keys and a BMW from the residence. Following CCTV and house-to-house enquiries, officers tracked the suspects to the M5 motorway near Cullompton. With the assistance of Devon and Cornwall Police, the four men were detained on suspicion of burglary. Witnesses reported that traffic on the motorway was held for approximately 30 minutes during the police operation on Wednesday, 19 November.

Gloucestershirelive reports that the four individuals have since been released on police bail while investigations continue.
