Hartford Police Search for Suspects After Resident Bound in Violent Home Invasion

HARTFORD, CT — Law enforcement officials are actively investigating a harrowing home invasion that occurred on December 12, 2025, in Hartford, where suspects bound a resident using duct tape before ransacking the home.

According to initial reports from local police, the incident took place during the afternoon hours. Multiple intruders allegedly forced their way into the residence, confronting the occupant inside. The suspects quickly subdued the victim, utilizing duct tape to secure their hands and feet, preventing them from calling for help or escaping.

Once the victim was bound, the perpetrators proceeded to search the home for valuables. It has not yet been confirmed what items or currency were taken during the robbery. After the suspects fled the scene, the victim was eventually able to free themselves or alert neighbors, who contacted 911.

Emergency medical personnel evaluated the victim at the scene. Fortunately, despite the traumatic nature of the ordeal, no life-threatening physical injuries were reported.
