Hendersonville Police Search for Suspect in Local Smash-and-Grab Theft

The Hendersonville Police Department has launched an active investigation into a smash-and-grab theft that took place at a local business. Investigators have released security camera images of the suspect in hopes that members of the community can help identify the individual.

The Smash-and-Grab Incident

According to police reports, the suspect arrived at the business during the early morning hours. Using a heavy tool, the individual smashed the front glass window of the storefront, gaining immediate access to the interior. Within minutes, the suspect grabbed valuable merchandise from display cases and fled the scene in a waiting vehicle before officers could arrive. The total value of the stolen goods and the damage to the property is estimated to be several thousand dollars.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from the store and surrounding businesses. The suspect is described as a male wearing dark clothing, a hood, and gloves to conceal his identity.
