In one dramatic event, an exceptionally brave shopkeeper physically tackled an armed robber who entered the store demanding cash. Despite the obvious danger, the owner managed to overpower the suspect and lock him inside the premises. The quick-thinking store owner then phoned the authorities, who arrived minutes later to arrest the trapped robber.

A similar incident occurred when a terrified shop manager was confronted by a shoplifter demanding money from the till.
