The incident began in the early hours of August 26, 2025, when authorities spotted a U-Haul truck associated with a local burglary.

The Pursuit Begins

When Los Angeles police officers attempted to pull over the moving truck, the driver sped off, initiating a high-speed chase. The suspects navigated through multiple neighborhoods in South Los Angeles, driving erratically to evade law enforcement. Due to the size and weight of the U-Haul, police took extra precautions while maintaining visual contact.

Abandonment and Crash

As the chase intensified, the suspects abandoned the U-Haul truck and quickly piled into a waiting getaway car to continue their escape. The secondary pursuit did not last long, however; the driver of the getaway vehicle lost control shortly thereafter, crashing in a South LA neighborhood.

Arrests and Ongoing Investigation
