Home burglary in Pool leads to prison sentences
Residential burglary in Pool
According to an article published by the Falmouthpacket on 30 January 2026, two men have been sentenced to prison following a burglary at a private home in Pool. Jamie Hammond and William Pascoe were jailed for 31 and 37 months respectively after admitting to the offence, which took place in December of last year.
The Falmouthpacket reports that the two masked raiders entered the home of a 66-year-old man and restrained him. The victim was forced to open a safe, from which the pair stole watches, coins, and sentimental items before fleeing the scene in a car. The court heard that the victim recognised Pascoe, whom he had met online. Following an investigation involving CCTV footage, both men were arrested, and stolen items were recovered from a property in Redruth and the vehicle used in the raid.
Ensure that all entry points to your property are securely locked and consider installing a monitored alarm system to deter unauthorised access.
