Home invasion incident in Ewloe

According to Northwalesdailypost, a resident of Old Chester Road in Ewloe feared for his life after his home was targeted by a masked burglary gang on 3 June 2026. The victim was awoken by the sound of banging and smashing downstairs. Upon looking out of his bedroom window, he observed a group of men dressed in black wearing balaclavas, some of whom appeared to be carrying weapons.

The victim shouted to attract attention and contacted the police, causing the intruders to flee the scene. The property, including the kitchen, back room, and garage, was found to be ransacked. DNA evidence recovered from the scene led to the identification and arrest of Kyle Robinson, who later admitted to the burglary. The victim reported that the incident has left him feeling unsafe in his own home. Robinson was subsequently sentenced at Mold Crown Court for this offense and a separate assault.
