Home Invasion and Theft in Woodland Hills

Two residents of Woodland Hills were tied up and zip-tied during a home invasion that occurred in the early hours of Monday, March 27. The incident took place at a residence on the 22000 block of Dumetz Road. The intruders, who were armed with a handgun, forced their way into the home and restrained the occupants, who were tied up and zip-tied. The victims reported feeling terrified during the ordeal, which lasted for approximately 45 minutes.

The burglars made off with an estimated $20,000 worth of jewelry and an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV. No arrests have been made, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the suspects. The victims were not physically injured during the incident, but the emotional trauma has left them shaken.
