Home robbery in Coalburn
According to Glasgowlive, police in Lanarkshire have launched a manhunt following a robbery at a private home in the Coalburn area. The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. on Sunday, 14 June 2026, near the B7078 road.
Three masked individuals entered the property, leaving the 63-year-old female resident with minor injuries. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene, and she was reported to be extremely shaken by the event. The suspects stole cash, jewellery, and two vehicles: a blue VW Tiguan and a blue Ford Fiesta.
Authorities have provided descriptions of two of the suspects: one was wearing a black hat and black clothing, while the second wore grey jogging bottoms. Police are currently conducting high-visibility patrols and reviewing evidence. Detective Inspector Vicki Douglas has appealed for any witnesses, local residents with private CCTV, or those with dashcam footage to contact the police or Crimestoppers.
