House break-in reported in Polbeth, West Lothian
Police investigate residential burglary in Polbeth
According to an article published on 19 March 2026, police in West Lothian are investigating a house break-in that occurred in Polbeth. The Scotsman reports that the incident took place at a property on Five Sisters View between 4am and 10pm on Friday, 13 March.
Authorities stated that entry was forced at the rear of the home, where the patio doors were smashed. Despite the forced entry, it was reported that nothing was taken from the premises.
Constable Mark Kerr has appealed for anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or possesses relevant CCTV, doorbell, or dash-cam footage to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 1593 of 15 March 2026. Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
