Houston Taqueria Shooting: Customer Shoots and Kills Armed Robber

An armed robbery at El Ranchito taqueria in Houston ended in gunfire when a customer shot and killed the suspect. The incident occurred during late-night hours when a masked intruder entered the restaurant, brandishing a weapon and demanding cash from patrons. As the suspect collected money, a patron pulled out a handgun and fired multiple shots, neutralizing the threat. The suspect died at the scene.

Houston Police Department investigators released surveillance footage of the customer, labeling him a "person of interest" for questioning. Authorities are seeking to understand the circumstances surrounding the shooting and the customer's departure before officers arrived.
