ICE Boston Operations Target Violent Non-Citizens Linked to Home Invasions and Kidnapping
BOSTON, MA โ Federal enforcement officers with ICE Boston have carried out significant operations targeting non-citizens accused of serious, violent crimes within the local community. The agency reported multiple arrests and deportations focusing on individuals involved in residential home invasions, kidnapping, and domestic violations.
In one action, ICE Boston Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers arrested a Guatemalan citizen who is facing state charges of armed home invasion and kidnapping. According to federal authorities, securing the individual was a high-priority public safety measure given the severe and threatening nature of the allegations.
Additionally, ICE officials announced the formal removal of a Colombian national who had been charged with assault during another home invasion incident. This individual was also found to be in violation of an active protective order. Local and federal agencies emphasized that they continue to coordinate on removing individuals who present a threat to the safety and security of families in the Massachusetts area.
