Intruder Breaks Into 13-Year-Old’s Bedroom in Miami, Stealing Valuables Before Fleeing

MIAMI, FL — Police are investigating a disturbing residential burglary in which an intruder entered the bedroom of a 13-year-old teenager, stealing a phone and a wallet before fleeing the scene.

The incident took place during the early morning hours, catching the young resident by surprise. The teenager woke up to find the suspect rummaging through personal belongings inside the bedroom. The intruder quickly grabbed the victim's wallet and cell phone before escaping through a nearby window or door.
