Investigation continues into Sevenoaks residential burglary

New CCTV images released in Sevenoaks burglary case

According to an article published on 22 April 2025, Kent Police are continuing an extensive investigation into a violent residential burglary that occurred in Sevenoaks on 21 June last year. Mirror reports that a suspect, referred to as the "Night Watcher," ambushed a 63-year-old woman in her home, where she was tied up and forced to open safes during a two-hour ordeal.

The perpetrator escaped with £1.4 million worth of jewellery, including diamond-encrusted earrings, a sapphire pendant, and several high-value watches. Detectives have released images of the makes and models of stolen timepieces, including a Bvlgari Lvcea, a Patek Philippe Gondolo, and a Breguet Reine de Naples, in an effort to track where the items may have been sold. The suspect, who was seen on CCTV wearing a face mask, a cream baseball cap, and trainers with distinctive red soles, is now being linked to at least five other burglaries in Kent since 2016. Authorities are urging the public to review the released images and provide any relevant information to assist the ongoing investigation.

Ensure your home security systems are regularly maintained and tested to provide reliable protection for your property.
