Jacksonville Woman Arrested for Attempted Burglary and Security Camera Theft

A Jacksonville, Florida woman was arrested by local authorities following an incident where she allegedly attempted to break into a vacant residence. According to police reports, the suspect targeted the unoccupied home and, during the break-in attempt, dismantled and stole several security cameras installed on the property in an apparent attempt to cover her tracks.

Law enforcement officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of suspicious activity. The suspect was located nearby and taken into custody. She now faces charges of attempted burglary and theft. The recovered surveillance equipment was returned to the property management, and officials have reminded residents of the importance of maintaining active security systems on vacant homes.
