Jewellery stolen in burglary at Kidderminster antique shop

According to an article published by Kidderminstershuttle on 6 June 2025, the Antique Centre located on Lion Street in Kidderminster has been targeted by burglars twice within a short period. West Mercia Police confirmed that the first incident was reported on 26 May, during which jewellery was stolen from the premises.

A second burglary occurred in the early hours of Friday, 6 June. According to Kidderminstershuttle, shop partner Robin Lapham stated that several thousand pounds worth of jewellery was taken during this latest incident. CCTV footage captured two individuals wearing hoods at the scene, and police noted that the suspects gained entry by smashing the front window.

The shop owners have expressed significant distress following the repeated targeting of their business. West Mercia Police have confirmed that enquiries into both burglaries are currently ongoing.

Business owners are encouraged to review their security measures, including the installation of reinforced glass and monitored alarm systems, to deter potential intruders.
