Jewellery stolen in Cheadle vehicle raid

According to an article published by Stokesentinel on 20 November 2025, a masked gang targeted a vehicle in Tean Road, Cheadle, on the evening of Friday, 14 November. The suspects reportedly smashed the rear windows of the car as the occupants arrived at their property, stealing three cabinets and three boxes containing gold and silver jewellery.

Stokesentinel reports that while two cabinets were recovered at the scene, one cabinet containing jewellery valued at approximately £20,000 was taken. The suspects fled towards Cheadle town centre shortly before 5:30pm. A man sustained an arm injury while attempting to intervene and received treatment from paramedics at the scene. Staffordshire Police are investigating the incident, which may have involved a silver Mercedes following the victims from Leek.

Authorities are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam, doorbell, or CCTV footage to contact them. Individuals are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious offers of jewellery to the police.
